Reports

The Chamber publishes on a regular basis comprehensive reports on various subjects. The subject of the reports in recent years can to a large extent be divided in two categories:

One the one hand reports have been published on english, frequently in collaboration with foreign scholars, which members have used in communicating information abroad. These reports have usually gotten widespread coverage and proven to be a vital input in the international discussion on the Icelandic economy. In every case additional funding have been attained from members and other stakeholders to cover the costs of the reports.

The Chambers has on the other hand written and published numerous policy formative reports which are all aimed at improving the business environment. It is the Chambers function to participate in general discuissions and push for business situations in Iceland that are fully compatible and competative. The Chamber always seeks the opinion of it members in its publications, especially in preparing larger reports.
