Námskeið: Incoterms 2010

Landsnefnd Alþjóða viðskiptaráðsins (ICC) stendur fyrir námskeiði um alþjóðlegu vöruflutningsskilmálana, Incoterms 2010, föstudaginn 2. mars næstkomandi. Námskeiðið fer fram á ensku og verður haldið kl 11.15-13.15 á 7. hæð í Húsi verslunarinnar, Kringlunni 7.

Fyrirlesari á námskeiðinu verður Oscar Tiberg lögmaður og helsti sérfræðingur Svía á þessu sviði. Námskeiðið er sérstaklega gagnlegt fyrirtækjum sem standa í inn- og útflutningi, lögfræðingum, endurskoðendum, flutningafyrirtækjum, tolli, bönkum og öllum þeim sem áhuga hafa á alþjóðaviðskiptum.

Nú eru tæp tvö ár síðan endurskoðuð útgáfa Incoterms skilmálanna kom út. Þátttakendur á námskeiðinu geta fyrirfram sent inn spurningar til fyrirlesara sem varða skilmálana með því að senda póst á undirritaða.

Þátttökugjald er kr. 40.000.- Félögum í Landsnefnd alþjóðaviðskiptaráðsins, millilandaráðum og Viðskiptaráði Íslands er veittur 20% afsláttur eða kr. 32.000.-

Nánar um Incoterms 2010 (á ensku):
Incoterms is a set of international rules for the interpretation of the most commonly used trade terms in foreign trade. They define the delivery of goods from seller to buyer, division of costs, transfer of risk and seller's and buyer's mutual obligations.

Incoterms® 2010 reflects changes and evolutions in international business and commercial practice. In addition to the 11 Incoterms® rules, this publication contains graphics and extensive guidance notes to facilitate their use. Since 1936, ICC’s Incoterms help traders avoid misunderstandings by clarifying costs, risks, and the allocation of certain responsibilities of buyers and sellers in sales contracts

The lecture consists of presentation of thirteen Incoterms and their proper use. Division of costs and transfer of risk will be discussed, as well as other mutual obligations. Presentation is supported by several examples and cases. The speaker will also handle contracts of carriage as part of delivery and marine insurance as part of risk management. The delivery has a link to revenue recognition and accounting. The choice of custom of trade and correct term of delivery are discussed from strategically point of view.
